Victorian Rococo Revival mahogany center table with characteristic frame heavily carved with elaborate floral sprays and cartouches, having a white marble “turtle-top.” Center tables were a focal point of the formal parlor; the name refers to decoration on all four sides; a large oil or kerosene lamp often stood on these tables. Unknown Donor.
