Victorian Rococo Revival chairs feature rosewood with high crests and finger molded back and seat frames, with carved seat frames and cabriole legs. The chair on the right was designed with skirts in mind. During the Victorian era skirts were worn in several layers and the recessed armrests made room for the skirts to splay out comfortably. Gift of Allison Hughes.
