Mark Landson’s American Stories is a rousing exploration of American patriotic music and the stories of American composers from independence through modern times. American greats Stephen Foster, Scott Joplin, George M Cohan, Gershwin, Copland, Bernstein and more come to life through the unique storytelling and comedy of Mark Landson and the musicianship of the Belmark Trio (clarinetist Brent Buemi, pianist Darío Llanos Javier, and violinist Mark Landson), joined by the brilliant soprano vocalist Allison Stanford, winner of the 2022 Latin American and Iberian Art Song Competition in Barcelona.

American Stories debuted in 2021 with audiences and presenters hailing it as “one of the most entertaining and informative programs we’ve ever experienced”, and “a signature work combining engaging story telling with a wide range of musicality”.

Performed by The Belmark Trio (Mark Landson, Brent Buemi and Dario Llanos) with special soprano guest vocalist Allison Stanford.
