Built in 1856, the NCHM Slave Quarters is the last intact slave dwelling left standing in the city of Austin. Now newly restored, this building is the last touchstone to an difficult but crucially important history.
Harrison Eppright leads this one-hour tour exploring the complicated influence of slavery on the city and how the impact of that institution resounds even today.
