Austin Museum Day is a citywide event that offers free admission and includes special programs and activities at museums across the city. Austin Museum Day at the Neill-Cochran House Museum includes:
Live music
Local art market
Suncatcher making activity
Ice cream & lemonade making
Lawn games & scavenger hunts
Free admission to the Museum for everyone!
Make the NCHM a part of your Austin Museum Day. Enjoy the fun on the lawn, then come inside one of Austin’s oldest historic residences with free admission 11:00AM - 4:00PM. Living historians, new interpretive panels, and scavenger hunts will bring Texas history to life.
Staff and volunteers will lead the suncatcher making activity from 11:00AM - 3:00PM.
You can find live music and booths selling art, sweets, and souvenirs on the NCHM lawn. Access to the Museum buildings and grounds are free all day!
