George III late 18th-century mahogany knife box in urn form (one of a pair), raised on a turned stem resting on square base raised on four small feet. Cover is topped by turned finial, which raises to reveal intact fitted cutlery case. Gift of Robert E. and Millicent Louise McDonald 2000.
