Washstand, c. 1885

Renaissance Revival Style, walnut washstand having a tall arched marble splash back, fitted with two small walnut shelves above the rectangular marble top, with a long frieze drawer fitted with carved wooden handles and a round escutcheon, above two overlapping solid cupboard doors with carved and applied medallions in the center of the raised panels, flanked by flat stiles with applied carving, on a flat base.
